Did You Know.....
Back in the days when we were all 'Tribal ', a pendant on a mans necklace was a badge. It revealed his individuality, and was used as protection to ward off evil (or encourage it), and gave him good luck.
Later it could indicate his religous beliefs. Men's necklaces were objects of human creation, and were probably held in the same regard as the type of car a man drives today. Frequently necklaces were given to men by loved ones as a token of endearment, or a symbol of 'belonging'. |
